Responsibilities
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research on global and local best practices in accelerated learning and education recovery program.
- Analyse data on learning gaps, barriers to learning, and the impact of accelerated learning on student outcomes.
- Monitor educational trends and policies to ensure that the Accelerated Learning Programme aligns with national and international standards.
Programme Development:
- Design and refine ALP curriculum content and instructional methodologies based on research findings.
- Develop innovative, evidence-based strategies to enhance the ALP’s effectiveness and scalability.
- Produce research briefs annually, making recommendations for possible pilot projects
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with academic institutions, NGOs, and educational experts to gather insights and share research findings.
- Maintain strong relationships with key partners, including government departments, to ensure alignment with broader educational strategies.
- Support the dissemination of ALP research and learnings through presentations, reports, and workshops.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
- Work closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to develop tools and metrics to assess the impact of ALP interventions on learner progress and outcomes.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management and funders, detailing progress, challenges, and future strategies.
Capacity Building:
- Provide training and support to the ALP team on research findings and program innovations.
- Assist in the creation of learning materials and guides to support program implementation at scale.
