The Motherload Project is very excited to be launching our website soon, and we’re looking for a passionate, proactive person to help maintain it.

About The Motherload
The Motherload is a feminist research project that centers the lived experiences of low-income mothers in South Africa. We work across sectors, from academia to activism to government, to influence inclusive, people-centered policy grounded in care and justice.

The Role
We’re looking for someone to support our communications team, with a focus on website updates. You’ll work in a transdisciplinary, feminist environment where care is not just a value, it’s a practice.

Key Responsibilities
• Upload and manage website content (Drupal experience is a plus, but not required - we’re happy to support your learning!)
• Provide support to our communications team, working across our platforms: Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Assist with organizing and managing project data - especially transcript data
• Contribute to a collaborative, care-centered team culture

Details
This is a part-time, paid role with flexible hours, the contract ends in March 2026, and is renewable based on funding availability.
