- In this role, you'll conduct financial management assessments using IFAD’s FM Assessment Questionnaire to evaluate systems, internal controls, and reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor compliance with IFAD’s fiduciary requirements, assess the adequacy of national FM systems, and review projects’ financial progress against agreed standards.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations to strengthen financial management and ensure effective administration of project funds.
- Support project implementation through capacity-building activities, follow-up on specific FM tasks, and track the status of prior recommendations at national, regional, and local levels.
- Collaborate closely with Finance Officers, programme management, and technical teams to ensure consistency, cohesion, and synergy in financial and programme support.
