REDD+ Project Coordinator
Description
The Nkuba REDD+ Project (NCA REDD+ Project) is developed to promote climate change mitigation and adaptation, preserve biodiversity and improve community livelihoods in the NCA REDD+ project zone and has the potential to provide significant global and regional benefits. Carbon finance is an important funding mechanism to help reduce the deforestation crisis from uncontrolled hunting, artisanal mining and unsustainable agricultural activities. The NCA REDD+ Project will incorporate future allocated CFCLs into the project design.
The overall objective of the REDD+ Coordinator will be to support management in the continued development and implementation of the NCA REDD+ Project program by maintaining performance, planning, monitoring, reporting and community relations.
