You will be under the supervision of the Governance Practice Manager (PM) for the EAEG2 Unit (Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, South Africa) and will support the implementation of activities financed by a Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) that supports the implementation of public financial management reforms in Mozambique. The Specialist will:

• Support the MDTF Program Manager in administering and managing the MDTF, particularly in developing mechanisms and procedures to select and implement activities to be funded by the MDTF

• Provide additional support to the Program Manager of the MDTF with program management tasks, including financial reporting, monitoring of activities funded by the MDTF, generating progress reports and preparing the annual work plan

• Liaise and manage relationships with the Donor partners and organize partner coordination meetings and communications as required in the relevant agreements

• Provide analytical input and advice to Bank operational teams on issues pertaining to PFM, exploring synergies with MDTF activities whenever pertinent

• Conduct analytical/research work relevant to the MDTF as may be required by the Donor Partners/Program Manager/Practice Manager

• Contribute to Advisory Services and Analytics with the objective to strengthen PFM in Mozambique and contribute to knowledge management and dissemination.

• Support the Program Manager in any other work related to the MDTF
