Are you passionate about innovation, youth empowerment, and gender equality in Africa?
Do you have experience guiding early-stage innovators and want to support the next generation of change-makers?
The African Union "AU Go Gal!" Innovation Initiative is seeking dedicated volunteer mentors to support our 20 top young female innovators (ages 15–25) from across Africa. These young women are developing bold, innovative solutions across three thematic areas:
1️⃣ Women and Youth Financial Inclusion
2️⃣ Economic Inclusion & Decision-Making
3️⃣ Girls and Women’s EducationTheir innovations span all stages, from concept to market-ready, and they need your expertise to refine their ideas, prepare to scale, and pitch confidently at the Spark Tank pitch session in October 2025.
Think you have what it takes but not sure you check every box? Research shows that while men apply to roles when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women often only apply when they meet every requirement. If you are hesitating, apply!
