Description
Responsibilities
● Proactively source, screen, and curate a high-quality pipeline of clean energy enterprises aligned with Charm’s investment strategy, contributing to a portfolio of 20–30 debt investments per year.
● Lead financial and operational due diligence on early-stage enterprises, including financial modelling, risk analysis, and impact assessment.
● Prepare and present clear, data-driven investment memos to the Credit Committee, integrating both commercial and impact considerations.
● Monitor portfolio performance through regular borrower engagement, identify early signs of credit risk and recommend proactive management actions.
● Provide feedback to enhance and refine Charm’s proprietary AI-driven credit risk assessment tools.
● Contribute to the design, testing, and rollout of new financing structures tailored to the needs of frontier market enterprises.
● Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with the rest of the team, entrepreneurs, pipeline partners, co-investors, and institutional stakeholders.
