The National Lotteries Commission (NLC), a Schedule 3A public entity in terms of the Public FinanceManagement Act (PFMA), is a statutory body established in terms of the Lotteries Act (Act 57 of 1997), asamended with the purpose of regulating South African lotteries and administering the National LotteryDistribution Trust Fund (NLDTF). Suitably qualified prospective candidates who are South African citizensare invited to submit their applications to fill the position listed below. The National Lotteries Commission iscommitted to the achievement and maintenance of diversity and equity in employment, especially inrespect of race, gender, and disability.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Produce high quality analytical reports for the national M&E Unit. Overall coordination and target trackingat national level for NLC grant monitoring and reporting; support and guide Provincial M&E Teams toensure M&E targets are met and M&E processes correctly performed as per the M&E framework, M&Epolicies and procedures, and the M&E annual work plan.

• Collates and consolidates M&E data from provincial teams
• Prepares high-quality, analytical M&E national activity reports including statistical reports inaccordance with reporting cycles
• Manages and quality assures national M&E data as per data management protocols andprocedures
• Leads on M&E data management i.e. management of the M&E dashboard and tracker and thequality assurance of data and POE submitted by Provincial teams
• Coordinates and tracks provincial grant monitoring activities and targets (in collaboration with PMs and Provincial M&E Specialists)
• Supports provinces to conduct periodic data quality assurance assessments on grantee data as perthe annual work plan
• Develops and reviews data systems and procedures as required
• Assists with coordination of Impact Evaluation Studies.
