Regional Director - Africa
Description
About the Regional Director- Africa role.
To provide strategic leadership, and oversee strategic planning, programmatic direction and growth, and all programs and operations within Africa, including overall guidance to a multinational staff, to support and strengthen a strong climate movement in the regions stopping fossil fuel expansion and accelerating a just transition to solutions, specially renewable energy for all.
To direct and oversee the development, prioritisation, integration, and implementation of regional strategies, including campaigning, organising, and mobilising as part of the global effort to stop the climate crisis.
To engage with other regional and global leadership to shape, develop and implement campaigning, organising, and mobilising strategies as well as organisation-wide structures and processes, ensuring that local and regional needs are reflected.
Location: Remote within Africa Region. Preferred locations where 350.org currently operates in Africa are: Kenya, Senegal, and South Africa.
Annual gross salary: 350.org has set salaries for all levels and does not negotiate compensation. Tier 4.2: Kenya - KES 6,353,581, Senegal - XOF 29,099,611, South Africa - ZAR 1,092,523
