We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Knowledge and Information Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information systems, ensuring that they are efficient, secure, and aligned with the institution's strategic goals, and develop a strong and efficient knowledge and information management systems. The Knowledge and Information Manager will work closely with various departments to identify and understand their information needs, design knowledge acquisition plans and manage digital and database systems to ensure critical information is ready available to support programmes, operations, and decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of information technology, data and knowledge management, business processes, institutional communication and monitoring, evaluation and Learning. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing information systems, leading initiatives to optimize information sharing mechanisms through social networks and digital platforms, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. The successful candidate responsibilities also include ensuring data security, and staying up to date with the latest technology trends, ensure that the website is of high-quality and is user-friendly, engaging, and effective in achieving its goals. The Knowledge and Information Manager will also be responsible for IT budgeting, IT vendor management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This is a critical role that requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can drive the organization’s technology initiatives forward.
